Many of the great minds of history studied and practiced Alchemy. It was responsible for sacred knowledge, sacred geometry, science, chemistry, medicine, healing, enlightenment, spirituality, and so much more.

Much of the history of Alchemy is scattered and viewed as only the science of attempting to changing regular metal into gold. Although that practice was probably attempted on the physical level, Alchemy has higher symbolic lessons about enlightenment and the transmutation of the soul.

The study of alchemy is as much a spiritual practice as it is a scientific study.

It appears to me that the union of Spirit & Science has been going on for a very long time. Perhaps as we study alchemy symbolically through our meditations and apply the teachings to our soul journey we will begin to transmute ourselves into balanced beings on all levels.

Queen Charlotte was the wife of George III and, like him, of German descent. But did she also have African ancestry?


Queen Charlotte died nearly two centuries ago but is still celebrated in her namesake American city. When you drive from the airport in North Carolina, you can’t miss the monumental bronze sculpture of the woman said to be Britain’s first black queen, dramatically bent backwards as if blown by a jet engine. Downtown, there is another prominent sculpture of Queen Charlotte, in which she’s walking with two dogs as if out for a stroll in 21st-century America.
